Before I speak about leadership, I think about people. Behind every public responsibility are real individuals and families—people raising children, building businesses, looking for opportunities, working to improve their livelihoods, and hoping for a better future.
This is the human side of leadership that I consider important. I am not separate from the communities I seek to serve. I am a woman who has experienced different stages of life, worked with people from different backgrounds, taken on responsibilities, faced challenges, learned from experience, and continued moving forward.
My journey through entrepreneurship, community service, philanthropy, leadership, and service within the County Government of Narok has given me opportunities to interact with people in many different circumstances. Those experiences have strengthened my appreciation for listening and understanding before acting.
Compassion With Responsibility
I believe compassion matters in leadership because decisions ultimately affect people. Listening to someone’s concerns, understanding their circumstances, and treating them with dignity are not small things. They are part of responsible public service.
But I also believe compassion must exist alongside integrity, courage, discipline, and commitment. Caring about people is important, but leadership also requires the determination to take responsibility and do the work.
I have always believed that dedication is demonstrated through consistency. When I accept a responsibility, I believe in giving it the attention, time, and effort it deserves. Challenges do not disappear simply because they are difficult, and meaningful work often requires patience and persistence.
Walking With the People
Unity is another value that matters deeply to me. Narok is diverse, and our differences should not prevent us from finding common ground. I believe we can listen to one another, respect different experiences, and work together without losing our individual identities.
As I pursue the governorship of Narok County in 2027, I want people to see not only the candidate, but the person behind the candidate—the woman who cares about people, values relationships, understands the importance of service, and believes leadership should remain connected to everyday realities.
I bring my experiences with humility, my responsibilities with dedication, and my relationships with genuine appreciation.
For me, leadership is not about standing above people. It is about being present, listening carefully, understanding honestly, and having the courage and commitment to work alongside people toward a shared future.
